Absence of Bribery In Administrative Processes

This sub-sub-indicator assesses the extent to which people have to pay bribes, informal payments, or other monetary /non-monetary inducements for permits, licenses, and administrative proceedings. This includes registering an ownership title over immovable property; registering a new business; expediting the delivery of a construction permit; clearing goods through customs; obtaining a driver's license, expediting the delivery of an occupation health and safety permit; obtaining service of process in a labour lawsuit; obtaining an ID to receive a basic treatment at a public hospital.
