Protection Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination

This sub-indicator assesses the extent to which there is an official mechanism that receives and investigates complaints of LGBT discrimination (whether investigations are undertaken independently or in collaboration with other entities), whether, in the last year, the mechanism has been proactive and implemented programmes designed to reduce/combat LGBT discrimination (such as conducting sensitisation campaigns), and whether the mechanism is accessible to most members of LGBT groups.
