Absence of Corruption In the Legislature

This sub-sub-indicator assesses the extent to which government officials in the legislative branch do not use public office for private gain. This is based on the following criteria: the extent to which members of the legislature/parliament are likely to solicit or receive illegal payment or bribe in exchange for political favours or favourable vote on a bill; members of parliament or congress are involved in corrupt practices.
