Business Regulatory Environment

This sub-sub-indicator assesses the legal, regulatory, and policy environment for private businesses. It has three subcomponents that measure the efficacy of regulations affecting (i) entry, exit, and competition; (ii) ongoing business operations; and (iii) factor markets (labor and land).
