Women's Equality In Property Rights

This sub-indicator assesses the extent to which there are gender differences in property and inheritance law by assessing whether men and women have equal ownership rights to immovable property, sons and daughters have equal rights to inherit assets from their parents, the law grants spouses equal administrative authority over assets during marriage, and the law provides for the valuation of nonmonetary contributions.
