Protection Against Ethnic Discrimination

This sub-indicator assesses the extent to which there is an official mechanism that receives and investigates complaints of ethnic discrimination (whether investigations are undertaken independently or in collaboration with other entities). It also assesses the extent to which, in the last year, the mechanism has been proactive and implemented programs designed to reduce/combat ethnic discrimination (such as conducting sensitisation campaigns), and the mechanism is accessible to most members of minority ethnic groups.
